  1. February 14th, 2008- MDDCWA hosted a breakfast event at the BWI Marriott hotel, to provide its membership with updates on the new FCC Requirement – Eight (8) Hour Back Up Power Requirement, Prohibition of Telecom Facilities on Public Elementary and Middle School Grounds (Montgomery County, MD Bill MC 811-08), and Prince George’s County, MD Bill CB-33-2007 - This new legislation is to alter how new tower applications in residential zones are processed in the County. This important information was presented by Rich Biby, P.E., the Publisher/CEO of AGL (Above Ground Level) Magazine; Sean Hughes, Esq., of Donohue and Blue; and Greg Tully of Network Building and Consulting (NB&C).
  2. October 25th, 2007- MDDCWA was launched at a very successful kickoff luncheon held in Annapolis, MD. The keynote speaker was David Edgerley, Secretary of Business & Economic Development for the State of Maryland, who addressed perspective on future wireless infrastructure development in the State and the effect that economic policies, programs, and taxes will affect wireless growth and utilization.
  3. Please join MDDCWA as the Baltimore Orioles take on the Houston Astros- don't miss this great networking event! With limited seats in the bullpen area, enjoy a picnic of Bourbon Barbecue beef brisket, hot dogs, farfelle pasta salad, popcorn, fresh watermelon, cookies, draft beer and soda. Have a chance to intermingle with other industry professionals for an hour and a half before the game while taking in the sights and sounds of Camden Yards. All proceeds will benefit The Living Classrooms Foundation.
